Day 1: Transfer to the Rushaga Sector of Bwindi

Board a comfortable 4×4 vehicle for the approximately 8-9 hour journey to Rushaga, with exciting en-route stopovers including the Equator crossing for photo opportunities and perhaps a water experiment. Upon arrival at Rushaga, check into your accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Uganda Gorilla Habituation Experience
Transfer from your lodge to the Rushaga sector for a briefing on the guidelines for the gorilla habituation experience. Spend a full day following the Kutu gorilla family members alongside a guide/tracker, observing their behavior in their natural habitat. This immersive experience guarantees you up to 4 hours of intimate interaction with the endangered mountain gorillas. Afterward, return to your lodge for relaxation, ensuring you’re equipped with ample water, snacks, and a walking stick for the day’s adventure.

Day 3: Return to Kampala/Entebbe
