Day One: KAMPALA
You'll be personally met on your arrival at Entebbe airport, and transferred to the Humura Hotel in Kampala. (For those arriving earlier, an afternoon excursion can be planned to the famous tombs of the Kabaka kings, Uganda museum, Bahai temple and Namugongo Martyrs shrine where 22 Christian convicts were killed under Kabaka(King of Buganda)-Mwanga in 1886

Day Two: Begin the panoramic drive north-west through the famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town to Murchison Falls National Park arriving in time for a picnic lunch at the spectacularly situated site at the top of the Falls where you can see the Nile's beauty perfected!! Marvel at the Nile, compressing from up to 1 km squeeze through a 7 meter canyon dropping 45 meters with a thunderous roar creating a beautiful rainbow, a plume of spray and the best thing that happened to the Nile..."the Murchison Falls ". Enjoy the sunset as you return to the lodge. Enjoy the superb comfort and service of Paraa Safari Lodge or Nile Safari Camp (High end/luxurious accommodation), Sambiya River Lodge (Mid range accommodating) or Red Chilihidaway(Low budget/basic accommodation) . Day Three: If you are booked for Nile Safari Camp, cross the placid Victoria Nile to the northern Bank. Your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild's giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. After lunch, go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the "Devil's Cauldron". En-route, marvel at the toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over this 17 km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob crocodile. This is also a zone of many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. Day Four: All day drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms along Albertine Rift escarpments. Fort-Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon Meals and overnight at Ndali Lodge or Primate Lodge (High end/luxurious accommodation) Nature Lodges, Mountains of the Moon Hotel (Medium class accommodation) Chimpanzee Guest House or Rwenzori View Guest House (Low budget/basic accommodation) a stunning location overlooking a dramatic Crater Lake and the fabled "Mountains of the Moon". Evening cultural visit around the crates is amazing. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day Five: Half day search of chimpanzee and 10 other primate including phoestes, red colobus, blues, red tailed and grey cheeked mangabey. The guide will provide detailed explanations, not only on primates, but also on all the forest fauna and flora and will ensure that your walk is both informative and enjoyable. This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primates at close quarters. After lunch, proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Ruwenzori Mt. Range via the crater lake region and baboon cliffs. A game drive en route to view lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, hyena and a variety of antelope species. Dinner and overnight at spectacular Mweya Lodge or Jacana Lodge, Katara Lodge, Hippo Hill camp, perched right on the edge of the escarpment overlooking the Uganda great Lakes and Maramagambo forest respectively. (High end/luxurious accommodation) or Simba Safari Camp, Mweya Hostel (Low budget/basic accommodation). Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day Six: Dawn game drives today. Queen Elizabeth National Park 's diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Game drives in this park, with the massive Rwenzoris as a backdrop provides excellent opportunities to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, cape buffalo, elephants, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, Topi and bush buck. These game drives and the boat trip are a memorable method of discovering a vast array of wildlife. In the afternoon, enjoy the unique 2 hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colourful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species. Dinner and overnight at spectacular Mweya Lodge or Jacana Lodge, Katara Lodge, Hippo Hill camp, perched right on the edge of the escarpment overlooking the Uganda great Lakes and Maramagambo forest respectively. (High end/luxurious accommodation) or Simba Safari Camp, Mweya Hostel (Low budget/basic accommodation). Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day Seven: Today's drive is through what is probably East Africa's most spectacular scenery, the highland rain forests which reach to the volcanoes in which live the mountain gorillas. A visit to the bat Cave close to Maramagambo forest and the “Blue Lake " is a must! This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds. The afternoon is spent on a game drive around the Ishasha Sector looking for the rare tree African climbing lions. Thereafter drive to Bwindi. Dinner and over night at either Gorilla Forest Camp or Bwindi Resort, (High end/luxurious accommodation), or Buhoma Lodge Engagi Lodge, Silverback lodge, Lake Kitandara Tented Camp/ (Medium class accommodation) or Buhoma Community Bandas (Low budget/basic accommodation). Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day Eight: Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. There are now only 650 left in the world! The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but its well worth the effort. Dinner and over night at either Gorilla Forest Camp or Bwindi Resort, (High end/luxurious accommodation), or Buhoma Lodge Engagi Lodge, Silverback lodge, Lake Kitandara Tented Camp/ (Medium class accommodation) or Buhoma Community Bandas (Low budget/basic accommodation). Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day Nine: Return to Kampala, then Entebbe, with lunch enroute and stop over at Equator Uganda before your evening departures home. Meal plan: Breakfast and Lunch. End of services.
